This is an excellenrt drill using two pieces of dowelling. It will give you the correct Wrist Motions from the Address Position (8-3) through to the Finish Position (8-12) of the golf stroke.

This drill should be practiced and practiced until both Hands are fully educated.

The Hands connect you to the club, they simply must be right.

They MUST play their roll throughout the golf stroke. Remember, the Hands can nullify it all and never be suspected. Educate the Hands.

The Hands are not educated until they control the Pivot (12-3-0).

Start with two dowels (5/8" X 48"), and take one in each Hand. Grip down on both dowells a little. with the Left Arm Dowel under the Left Hand heel pad and the Right Forearm Dowel in the Right Hand cup (lifeline).

Holding the dowel in the cup of the Right Hand will feel awkward at first, but you will soon get used to it.

Take your Classically speaking Address Position (Standard - 10-9-A)

1. The Standard Address position of the Wrists. The Left Wrist is Bent, Level, Vertical and the Right Wrist is Flat, Level, Vertical

2. The Hands are in a Mid-Body position

3. The squared body position

Both dowells should be about two inches apart and they must be kept this same distance apart from Address (8-3) to the Finish Position (8-12)
