Zero Accumulator #3

Power Accumulator #3 is formed by the angle established between the Left Arm and the Clubshaft.

Accumulator #3 should never be Out-of-Line, instead it seeks to MAINTAIN its Radial Alignment with the Left Arm and a Left Wrist Vertical to its associated Plane (Horizontal, Vertical, Angle).

So basically Accumulator #3 , Hand Motion is...........

"Clubface Control," "Rhythm Control" and "Roll Power Control" of the Right elbow

Accumulator #3

Accumulator #3 is the angle established between the Left Arm and Clubshaft

In the Follow Through (8-11 Both Arms Straight)  the Primary Lever Assembly, the Left Arm and Club are at Full Extension.

So the Release of the Power Accumulator #2 (6-B-2-0 and 2-P) has resulted in the Left Wrist moving from its Flat, Level and Vertical condition at Impact to its Flat, Uncocked and Vertical condition post-Impact.

So, the post-Impact Full Extension of the Power Accumulator #2 has  Zeroed-Out Accumulator #3.

At the Follow-Through position (8-11) the Left Wrist will be fully Uncocked (Accumulator#2) and Accumulator #3 will now form a Straight Line.

Zero Accumulator #3

Zero #3 Accumulator is achieved when the Clubshaft and Left Forearm form a straight line. This can be done by merely reducing the Hand and Clubshaft angle to Zero.

This position can be achieved by either Gripping the Club in the Cup of the Left Hand (shown in photo below) or by dropping the Clubhead into a Reverse Wristcock condition (Flat, Vertical and Uncocked).

The Club remains under the Heel of the Left Hand, and the Left Wrist remains in its Level Condition. As a result, there is a readily observable angle between the Left Forearm and the Clubshaft. Any such Angle represents #3 Accumulator, and its Clubhead Travel (Rhythm per the selected Hinge Action) must be accomodated from Release to Follow-Through.

Placing the Clubshaft anywhere between the Heel and the Cup of the Left Hand will reduce its angle accordingly but will not alter its Rhythm until Zero position is reached.

The Grip

In this photo I am griping the club in the Cup of the Left Hand. You will notice that my Left Arm and Clubshaft form a Stright-Line (Primary Lever).

In this instance I can move this Primary Lever back and forth by using either Accumulator #1 or Accumulator #4.
