What is Inertia?

All objects resist changes in their state of motion. All objects have this tendency - they have Inertia. But do some objects have more of a tendency to resist changes than others? Absolutely yes! The tendency of an object to resit changes in its state of motion varies with Mass.

An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by a force. Newtons First Law of Motion.

The Golfing Machine, by the late Homer Kelley, is one of the most fasinating and thorough books ever written about the game of golf. Within a few years of its publication in 1969, a little yellow book called The Golfing Machine came to revolutionize golf teaching.

It was the product of an intensive, lifelong study of the golf swing by one man, Homer Kelley, who twenty eight years earlier had begun what he envisioned as a one-week quest to map out the "science of the swing."

Mrs Rosella M. Kelley Born on July 1, 1912, in Fountain, Minnesota. Rosella Kelley (known to friends and family as "Sally") passed away on March 24, 2006 at the age of 93. She had last week suffered a minor stroke that left her alert but unable to speak.

Sally Kelley lived in Minnesota and Hawaii before moving to Seattle in 1953. In Minneapolis, she worked at the Radisson and Leamington Hotels as assistant to the catering manager. During World War II, she worked for the military in Hawaii. After the war, Sally owned and operated a gift shop at the Kauai Inn, then became manager of the Kauai Yacht Club.
