"There are only a few professional golf instructors blessed with the ability to consistently achieve good results and to do so while making the learning process enjoyable at the same time.

John Furze is one of those rare talents.

Some instructors have a great deal of technical knowledge but can not t impart it easily to their pupil.

To all you golf enthusiasts

Re-Mr John Furze

My adventure to golf was quite astonishing. I started playing golf again last May, 2007, and in one word it was a disgrace.

I found myself playing zig zag golf and finding every tree possible.

So I seeked out some lessons locally and that was to No Avail.

I was recommended to a prominent place in Dingly and after about 10 lessons and hours of practicing, the golf was not improving.

Dear John,

I am a bit late with this but better later than never. About you and I. I feel we could not be any closer if we were in the same room rather than half a world apart.

We are on the same wave length. We believe the same thing. We teach the same thing.

We each pray that each student will become a world beater but will be pleased if the student is pleased.

We know the same infallible way to strike a golf ball and try to get each of our students to adhere to what we preach.

Bobby Clampetts Swing

Homer Kelleys comments on Bobby Clampetts swing.

I have discussed a few points with Bobby Clampett over the phone but I have never met or personally coached him but any Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine can critique anyones Stroke Pattern in regards to any specific inquiry.

Bobby is ideal for the article because he has successfully applied what he achieved as a "D" Level of perfection with The Golfing Machine and thereby shows what exhilarating improvement can be experienced along the way. There are trillions of Stroke Patterns in our catalog but what everyone would like is just one, not one universal Pattern but one individualized Pattern.

Bobby applies both Geometry and Physics with obvious skill, These comments are to point out the single basics of the system he employs-not the subtle refinements. So, all omissions of same are totally intentional.

The Pitch Shot

Pitching
Pitching_3.jpg

When I am playing in pro-ams the shot that I see most players having difficulty with is the 50 to 80 metres pitch shot that requires less than full swing.

Most players make a swing that is to long and then decelerate the clubhead through the impact zone.

This is the only way they can prevent hitting the ball to far over the green and as a consequence they become very inconsistent.

This can cause striking behind the ball or a low thin driving type of shot.

Watch the followining video and see a Pitch Shot being demomstrated by John using a Dual Vertical Hinge (10-10-B).
